Ingredients of Pan Fried Panko Tofu

  1. You need 1 lb of Extra Firm Tofu.
  2. It’s of Panko Breadcrumbs.
  3. It’s 2 of Eggs.
  4. Prepare 1/2 cup of Flour.
  5. Prepare of Turmeric.
  6. Prepare of Ground Ginger.
  7. You need of Cayenne Pepper.
  8. You need of Coconut Oil for frying.

Pan Fried Panko Tofu step by step

  1. Drain tofu and cut into squares at 1/2" thick.
  2. Beat eggs in one bowl. Pour panko into another bowl. Pour flour, Turmeric, Ginger and Cayenne into a third bowl.
  3. Heat coconut oil over medium high heat until suitable for frying.
  4. Cover each tofu square first in flour mixture, then beaten eggs, then Panko.
  5. Pan fry each side until browned golden.
  6. Lay tofu on metal rack over sheet pan and bake at 350 for 10-5 minutes.
